Our Mission

CHURCHES “OF CHRIST”
We view the phrase “churches of Christ” (Romans 16:16) not as a sectarian or denominational brand name, but as a vivid reminder that the church belongs to Jesus as He purchased it with His Blood (Acts 20:28).  He is the Head of His Church (Matthew 16:18) and the Church is His Body (Ephesians 5:23; Colossians 1:18).

UNDENOMINATIONAL
We strive for Unity in and for the Body of Christ.  Thus we teach Unity in essentials, Liberty in opinions, and in all things Love.  It is our goal to be like the church we read about in the New Testament.  The one that Paul says should “speaks the same thing” (I Corinthians 1:10).  The One that Jesus prayed for in John 17:20-23.

In a world of religious division, our goal is to provide common ground for all believers by seeking to restore the original New Testament Church in this present age by using the Bible as our only guide.  There is a purpose for this unity according to Jesus; “that the world may know that You have sent me, and have loved them as You have loved Me” (John 17:23).

Unity confirms God having sent His Son.  Disunity would have the opposite effect!  And thus disunity causes the Great Commission’s effectiveness to be minimized (Matthew 28:18-20).

CARING SPIRITUAL FAMILY
We aim to practice the ‘new commandment” of Jesus to “love one another as I have loved you” John 13:34.  We recognize that unity is more than just doctrinal purity – it is also personal – and therefore, it requires our individual commitment to ‘seek the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:3).  We affirm that the church founded by Jesus is not fully restored until others see Him reflected in our relationship with each other.
